Rear U-Joints can't keep them in. Driveline angles are great. But the plus is I can change them on the trail in about 10 minutes.

Drive shafts.

Ding them a little bit and then they vibe, wear out U-joints etc. I have replaced the factory front one 3 times and am ready to do the 4th. Rear is a Tom Wood. Takes a beating but needs lubed and rebuilt frequently.

I picked engine since I couldn't pick all of the above. I need a big ole V8, then I need bigger drivetrain to handle all that HP. Then bigger tires which needs bigger suspension. Then I'd need a better rollcage to cover me when I got too excited about that big ole V8 with the skinny pedal. Man...if DC would only build a Monster Jeep from the factory! Big Grin

I picked other too.

I want a roll cage (luckily I haven't neededone yet.

I would also love to get inside the T/C. I have an AA SYE w/Tom Woods, so a 4.1 would close that part of the upgrades.

Hummm... Xmas is coming... What else do I need??

258's going in favor of 4.3 with a 700r4. Buddies are saying I need to come into the 21st century, Nix the carb and stick in favor of injection and a slushbox.
However I'm keeping my old t18 just in case I don't like the slushbox.
