Question:
Since they don't have Solar Yellow in the 05 line up, I can't decide what color I want to go with. What's your favorite? There isn't enough answer options for the number of colors, so I've listed the ones I'm thinking of so far.

Choices:
Black
Light Khaki
Patriot Blue
Electric Lime Green
Impact Orange

That's exactly why I picked the Electric Lime Green for my line up. It's that in your face thing. Maybe that's what I miss about the Solar Yellow. That, and it's not too far off from the grabber green I painted my cage in Ol Yeller. I couldn't have lost my Jeep in a sea of Jeeps. I kinda figured I have a lot of Texas votes on the Impact Orange though.

I've seen the Electric Green, I like it for now but later on I'd probably regret it and resale could go good or bad. I like Black, color of both my Jeeps but it's hard to keep it looking nice. I haven't seen the Orange or the Patriot Blue up close so I'd go with "Light Khaki" or "Silver" (didn't see it as an option in the poll)

The orange or green would probably look good with some meaty tires under it...along with black bumpers, rockers and beadlocks to kinda turn the volume down on the color a little bit. But my vote went to Khaki, I love that color on the new Jeeps. Blends perfect with the desert too. My second choice would be Patraiot Blue.

The wife and I both like the Khaki but, I don't know. To me Jeeps are fun and call for fun colors. I'm leaning towards the Lime Green. The more I look at the Orange, the closer it looks to the Red, to me. I've had a couple of red trucks and well, I'm just done with that color. If Solor Yellow was offered, it wouldn't even be an issue to me. I probabaly should consider re-sale but, I'm thinking that this will be my 3rd Jeep and I just don't know if I could let it go. Particularly with the Rubi package and the longer wheelbase. I'm thinking it's kinda going to be a keeper.

Finally saw the orange. Looks good with the 'faded' gray flares. One of the local dealers has one unlimited and one rubi that color. They both looked nice to me.

I don't mind the Orange but I think I'd like it better if it were a bighter orange. Maybe a candy orange. I have to say though, I can't do the medium gray top. I think the Orange would look much better with a black top. Once they come back out with the black tops, I may change my mind and like the Orange better than the Lime Green.

Red passe? What the heck? I picked my red over yellow after seeing them side by side. Red rocks. However out of the new colors this year I would go with the orange. I have seen the green and it is sweet but I think it would wear old on me.

Per the Jeep build your wrangler site, I see Solar Yellow however the Electric Lime Green is missing If I remember correctly, Solar yellow was discontinued for a year (The first year of the Rubicon) and reintroduced the following year.

The Imapact Orange DEFINITELY looks better with all black fenders and top vs. the gray. I saw an Impact Orange Rubicon at one of the local dealerships before I bought mine and drooled and lusted for probably a good 20 minutes over it! I agree with the earlier post, though - I would love to have seen it a little more orange - brighter and bolder. I Photochopped a red one in to the orange I thought looked best - maybe I can get it posted...

Here it is! I just couldn't decide which of my custom orange paint jobs I liked better - the bright or the bold orange.
