So what's tthe cheapest way to ship? I quoted it at UPS and it was over 400. I'm interested, but OUCH on the shipping!

Probably Forward Air.

If this is just the axle + gears/locker I got one shipped UPS from www.jeepsareus.com. Shipping wasn't cheap, but it wasn't $400 either.

It did give me a rather annoyed UPS man though.
