So I finally got everything together on my YJ. Now I have a 2.5 bolted to a sm465 and the inertia ring Razz. I needed to space the hydro cyll away from the bellhousing so the shift fork could come back enuf so the throwout wasnt touching the clutch. But now I am just bearly releasing the clutch.... I have tryed many diff combos of shims and diff lenght shift rods. My only hope is that I can get more travel out of the system. Is there a way to upgrade the clutch master cyll to push a little more fluid?? Or a way to get more travel from maybe adj the petal? This is very frustraiting Mad.... although watching it drive itself over stuff in my driveway without even trying to stall gave me a chubby Big Grin

what pressure plate are you useing? I have read about there beeing 2 diffrent types of pressure plates, one made for hydro linkage and one for mecanical linkage. The problem could be there.
If not, then you might just have adjust it to find a "in between"

I dont think it will matter if you can get the master to push more fluid/pressure, the slave only goes out so far.

So I used a BFH to beat the heak out of the floor under the clutch petal Big Grin to allow it to travel more. So now it shifts ok but still touches the bearing. Mad But I did get it drivable.....although with the 4:10's still I have a top speed of about 45 mph...downhill....with wind... Roll Eyes Oh well If I wanted to go faster I would buy a walker Big Grin
