Does anyone know how to correct the speedometer on an 05 Rubicon Unlimited. I thought that it would be the same as my 02 TJ, and bought a 41 tooth gear(4.88 gears w/ 33" Pro Comps is what I need to compensate for), but where I would thought where the gear went into is much smaller than the 02. Or is this a programable change that the dreaded dealer needs to do?

Yup, dealer needs to do it, and many are pretty stupid about it from what I've seen on other boards. You could do it yourself with a Dakota Digital or Truespeed unit and a GPS, that way you can change it again in the future when you buy those 35's. Big Grin

Good luck,
Mark

I was afraid of that, but thanks for the heads up. I just might consider the Truespeed or the Dakota Digital, for as you said the future 35's
