Is there any reasonable prospect of adapting a gated shifter to the Liberty CRD - say something similar to the one used in the Dodge Magnum Hemi? The Dodge uses the same 545RFE transmission as the CRD. But for reasons unknown, DC decided to only include the auto-shift modes in the Liberty. Having the ability to manually shift the 545RFE would be a worthwhile upgrade in my opinion.
Thoughts? Maybe an aftermarket shifter? |
