lurking about the tamiya sight and found the lovely sand rail . it has two clod buster axels the front axel has the gears removed so its just two wheel drive . but very nice piece ..

One day, someone showed me a glass of water that was half full. And he said, "Is it half full or half empty?" So I drank the water. No more problem. ~Alexander Jodorowsky.....

Well start getting some brake line hehe.
Then we can show off our new rigs Smile

Little more practice and Im starting mine but with traxxas parts Big Grin

I would like one like a Tatum black widow.
Been thinking 2ltr soda/pop bottles can be used for body panels.

sorry just got round to looking at this.wow that is some sand rail .is that a propane bottle on the back ,i coulden,t realy see .??? but looks great .i know you whant me to get some brake line and weld one of these chassis up .i wish i could m8 .but ,this darn house has all my time at the moment . its going to take at least six months before it,s finish,d also have a holiday to contend with ,i try to steal time for my r/c a couple of hours here and there .so it will probably be next year before i can scratch build anything .but i love this idea , Big Grin

I think Im going to make a airboat/ swamp boat for the engine.. Simple to make and should be able to do what a hovercraft can.

All this waiting and brain power used on other projects. Would be nice to have a simple build for once LOL.

Looks like the gas tank. Type you put in the back of A pickup truck to refuel farm/construction equipment.

No M8 there is tons of that stuff around here. Guys make planes, boats every thing out of them.

Guess Americans have pride in their beers and like to show them off. I have seen lamps, beds almost anything you can imaging out of cans.
