Okay literally 30 minutes ago i broke down and had to try out the Nylint crawler. So i went with my buddy to Walmart and picked up a 1/18 scale. Right out of the box i trimmed the springs for more flex and the mini batteries are charging. I wanna see how i can compare this to my New Bright TJ. My guess is there is no competition. Big Grin

Well as far as i can see it looks "ok" (famous last words). The detail and all that is okthe tires do flex easier and as bolted through. The 1/18 has high and low that must be manually selected on each axle. The metal steering links are on the front so more prone to being hit as the new bright has them on the back of the front axle. The springs NEEDED 4 coils cut and they need it badly, there was alot of tension there. Just waiting for my last 30 minute charge and then ill take my scorpion buggy out for the maiden run. Wish me luck, ill show no mercy! Rockcrawler

Does that mean you can have one axle in high range and one axle in Low? That sounds like a grenade waiting to go off!!!! Think twinstick!

And was there a big goofy warning in the manual about that?

By the way there is NO WARNING about using one axle in HIGH and one is LOW. Which could lead to who knows what amount of problems and certain breakage. All it said was if they are like this it will make the truck drag when it runs. Sounds sketchy.... Roll Eyes

I bought my NB first. Then I seen the 1:6 Nylint But couldn't find one locally so I settled for the 1:18 Scorpion.I can now say I was sadly dissapointed with the Nylint. It was very noisy and extremely tipsy. It would tip over just trying to go over my work boot toe.I have since modified my NB and love it even more.I took the Nylint Scorpion back to the store then went and bought another NB.
