Ok I started to cut my tires last night, what a major difference! Now I'm going to link the front and rear. I thought about having the shock mounts on the links to help keep it on the ground and produce more "lift" out of it.

Here is my current plan:
- Use a wire coat hanger to cut and make my own links. They should be real easy to work with, and plenty strong for this. If its not strong enough, I can double up on them and increase the strength.

- I can loop the ends and easily clamp them down over a screw. The screw will be screwed into the plastic, but not far enough to damage anything. I will keep the links looped from going back and forth but enough to allow it to pivot. I figure I should attach to the body then attach about an inch outside the shock mounts on the axel.

- I'm going to turn the rear to give mroe clearence in it and cover the motor with an aluminum grill.

- Since I am going to be doing the links, I'm going to give the rear more wheel base, and the front just enough to give myself a 90* approach angle.

- Will eventually paint it all so it dosnt look like crappy coat hangers. If you use the kind that are coated in plastic, coat it in some grease, just a little, and it will act as a bushing.

Sorry for my spelling I suck at it major.

Yeah, I broke the front passenger's side outer axel shaft... its whatever that little white plastic thing that goes troughthe steering knuckle and the tire directly bolts to it. It snaped in half. Tried to use a ziptie and soldering iron to melt it baack together, I couldnt break it with my hand and thought it was going to work. Drove it on my floor and everything just fine!

Took it outside, first rock ledge it started to spin and instantly broke. Pissed me off big time.

So basicly if I do all this **** I'll still not be able to drive it. Kinda blows.

I also don't have the money to buy another and use this one for parts. But that might be what I have to do.

I took a larger screw and "FORCED" it down the shaft to connect them both. I backed it out just enough to were i could saw it off, then I was going to screw both pieces together to form the axel.

Its pretty much stripped and i think repair is out of the question for it. Not sure what to do now.
