Rockcrawler |
well they released a new 4wd / 4ws version of the TXT..
a little too late, and A LOT too pricey - - the speed control is a "stepper" ( 3 step forward etc. ie: non proportional ) just thought someone may want a look.. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXAWE0&P=ML maybe they'll get it right next time |

I don't care what anyone says but at that level and price you should get full proportinal throttle.
Just my 2 cents worth. Sean ___________________________________________________________ "I'm just gonna keep on crawlin' now baby until the day I die, because I'm a crawlin' kingsnake baby, and I rules my den" John Lee Hooker |

that's exactly what I was thinking - I don't believe that there's a radio of any kind either....
and THE PRICE tag - "ouch" |

The Clod Buster comes the same way. A mechanical speed control, no radio, no crystals, as a kit that you assemble. Out of the box they are not as good crawlers as you think they should be. They are a good starting point though to build a crawler.
I have a clod buster and after puting in a electronic speed control it makes a difference. They are expensive for sure. But hey, it's a hobby. It keeps us off the streets at night. This message has been edited. Last edited by: gumbi, |
