Thanks to this forum, I managed to source 2 2300mAh Ni-Mh batteries and a much improved charger. These have been excellent, and I have since purchased a few extra things.

Firstly, I hummed and hawed for a while before ordering the batteries, and I eventually settled with these ones as they would fit inside the existing battery compartment - and they do - perfectly!

The next thing I bid for and won on eBay (for an amazing £0.01!) was a high-power LED headlight which I have mounted onto the roof rack. It's a great addition to the roof rack (which needs to have things stuck to it IMO) and produces super light.

I also ordered a few bits and pieces to stick on that would improve the aesthetics of the roof, including a latter which sits up neatly (although that has fallen off in the midsts of the garden and is still to be found!) and some jerry cans!

I also bought a remote control boat which is good fun and sits up there too.

I had some problems with the steering (see my other thread) and am now on my third NB G4 Land Rover!! (the first one had broken suspension).

I've just managed to put some of the roof fitting back onto the new one. I've also put some velcro strips on the front and rear sump guards, and a small patch on the front and back of the body to keep it from scratches etc...

Hope you like it!

One day, someone showed me a glass of water that was half full. And he said, "Is it half full or half empty?" So I drank the water. No more problem. ~Alexander Jodorowsky.....
