Just looking to start a subject just for the 1:6 landrovers or anything that has the same drivetrain and suspension, I see all these great mods but none seem to be exactly like mine. Target 1:6 twin 19.2.
I have cut half the chassis out, modded the shocks, installed lights, aluminium bumper (rear) body lift, solid body mounts (stop the rattles) Now for the tyres and to transfer some of that sprung weight to unsprung.

No pics yet.

One day, someone showed me a glass of water that was half full. And he said, "Is it half full or half empty?" So I drank the water. No more problem. ~Alexander Jodorowsky.....

I think they are steve. My denali is held on by body clips and the lr3 I think is on the same platform.

The driving force 1/6 vehicles I think are "hobby grade". (rolling eyes)

Yeah It's a detachable body. Very weak body mounts stock but they give you spares.
I have replaced mine with 3/8 steel threaded rod to eliminate the rattling noises.
I added lights this past weekend, hi and lo beam. Headlights and tail for regular with a switch on the roof (drilled just behind the roof rack front bar through the sunroof. I hooked up the spotties on the front and the spotties on the roof (removed 2 of them and hooked up 2 of them) so driving at night in the snow is a little more fun.
Now I have locked the rear diff, done the steering mod and it climbs awesomely compared to stock.
Still too fast for my liking. Not going ot lock the front yet due to the strain put on the servo. There will be a point though.
Does anyone know where you can get a kit of 3 channel radio gear with 2 servos and a speed control included or do you just get different parts and hope they all work together?
was thinking of 3 channel so I could add a winch or something

Is that a 1:6 OR 1:10 in your picture?
I am looking for info on changing the gearing on the 1:6 LR to slow it down and increase torque. (reducing the overload cutouts too I hope)

I took my videos most time alone, and this is not advisable. Better to be two... THANK
