I just bought my son a 1:6 Yukon Denali Monster version yesterday. This is the one with the 2 motors each with it's own (2) 19.2v battery. It states "2 motors with twice the power". We have a large yard and I want him to have plenty of grass riding power. Looking for any feedback from 1:6 owners. I was originally going to get the 1:10 Hummer Monster version with 9.6 but it looked like it may not run well in grass. I must admit I was sold on the size. I am new to this and only know what I've been reading in forums. Just looking for opinions on 1:10 vs 1:6 satisfaction and any other helpful info. This thing is absolutely huge! They also had the RockCrawler 1:10 and 1:6. I still have 2 days before my sons birthday so there is time to exchanged.

I also bought him a 1:15 Dodge Hemi for inside the house which is in the picture.

Any info is helpful.

Peace

RVP

I've had no trouble on grass with the 1:10 but I guess it depends on how thick the grass is. The 1:10 is really good to modify because many hobby quality parts can be used and are readily available. The 1:6 is huge and impressive though, if you have room.

I just bought the same one as you. except mine is black.

it's very very very freggin powerfull. I've already climbed a steep hill (~120ft climb) went through 4" snow and and climbed over curbs. the one thing i did notice is how stuff the suspension is. but that is fixable i found out. All you have to do is remove the rear shock on each wheel move it to the front. take the coil over out of the other shock and stick is back on. wham its not super soft suspension but it stops alot of the jarring and other things that happen with the suspension that hard. have alot of fun i know i am!

Somebody's gotta mod one of these a bit and put some flex shots and action clips on the Modifications pages.
