My 1999 Grand Cherokee limited has a noise from the rear. My mechanic points to the rear differential that needs to be re-built at 80,000 miles.
I am out of warranty, but he said there are lots of articles on this defect and if I can find one my dealer may fix it. Anyone seen an official article or website on this? "Whatever doesn't kill me only makes me stronger." |

its a defect fro the 98-01. the dealership should fix it for free or for labor.
