what are the stock sizes/pitch/tooth count for 1:10 NB's? Trying to see if I can come up something myself. Any sources for gears like the ones used in the NB? Thanks guys,Chuck



loulou, could you please provide some clearer pics describing just what you did on yours? I've seen some pics with 1/2 axle housing...but no motor shots. Currious how far you had to mod the housing.

I would take off my motors and open my differential .. As I have already explained many times.
You should find these two new 34x10 gears and install solidly in the wake of three others as I demonstrated in my posts, I can only repeat the step-by-step ..
And once the new gear is installed, you anchored firmly on motor (8 pinion teeth) ..

The motor should be raised and well established .. I fulfills the basis of the differential (below the motor) with plastic automobile .. I made the adjustments needed .. I sat down and the motor on that basis ..

I surrounded the motor of a small steel wire and I solidified it with glue stick ..

Differentiel of plastic (the upper part) should be cut to allow the installation of the new gear and replace the motor ....

no problem Loulou, I understand now, just what you did...however-finding one of those tanks is about as easy as ordering new gears from NB to offer 90:1 Radio Shack dont offer those anymore either. Oh well...I PM'd Flapding for an order, we will see.Chuck
