So I tried to throw in a more powerful motor........ I failed horribly haha. This same motor worked in a same sized RC truck (radio shack dodge raminator). It pretty much doubled the torque on the dodge. I figured it might work on my NB. Motor was so powerful it pretty much tore the housing up lol. I fixed it as best I could and thankfully the gears were all still good. Steering works just like it use to right now.

However, I want to simplify that area a little more, what type of servos is everyone using? ounch/inch? All my choices are 3 wire but I'm pretty sure I can get it running without the signal wire.

And if anyone is wondering the motor i used, 40 000RPM slot car motor. $15 for the little thing. It's uh.... pretty farking fast. Worked fine in the raminator cause the gear reduction was... well it took to long to figure it out but i'm guessing at least 300:1.
