HELLO... I am happy…

I received my truck ( RADIO-SHACK )DODGE RAM 4X4" ..... I find it rather imposing. Its tires and its rims are really well. Its tires are made of a rather soft rubber and they are larger than my hummer.

I like his body .................
A body to lower seems increasingly more beautiful to me than a body to raise too much.

I will study this truck and to see what I can do with…

But I can to already say you that I also like it him: -)

HELLO.....
I made small tests. It has the same engine that my HUMMER, but the tires are a little larger, therefore it rolls more quickly than my HUMMER.

The servo direction works well. I will install a second battery in parallel to him.

The release on the ground is good. I will not close the differentials for the moment.

BEFORE....................

At the beginning, I had to buy it for the parts but I will make use a little and see of it what I could do with this truck.

AFTER..........................

I am very proud of my RUBITRACK…. with its tires or its MATTRACK. To clean after each visits in mud is an enormous work :-)

But YELLOW-CRAWLER remains my best climbing and it is still in service…. and he also does not miss spare parts.

Good meeting of crawling and have fun.

Tex will the wheels attach to the axles for Rubitrack? I'd sure like to use those wheels and tires on Magnus along with the gearing too! I'm sure Rammunition has lower more powerful gearing.

If memory serves me correctly, the Rammunition and the Hummer (the one I have and not the one yourself and Tex have) are built upon the same chassis and drivetrain. The only differecne between the Rammunition and the Hummer is the body (obviously) and the fact that the Hummer has proportional steering/speed. (I believe Gumbi can verify this) I bought the Rammunition wheels to put on my Hummer - much better ride but they are HEAVY!!! You can order the tires/rims sets as individual parts. My four wheel/rims came to 26.00 (CDN) with taxes in.

If they are identicial drivetrains, as I suspect, they are built for speed and not low end grunt. Maybe with a lighter chassis these things might display better torque but as stock they are beasts. I always warn the kids not to run into each other when playing with the Hummer. The sheer weight/speed of this thing could easily break a small ankle upon impact.

Just my experience,

Sean

((( This truck is not one ((RAMMUNITION))… but it comes from RADIO SHACK… )))

##############################################
The rims is adjusted on the HUMMER :-) ..... I have to change the 2 springs of the bumper front for softer… and for the force, I did not make a test yet.

The footing of this truck is shorter than my HUMMER thus length shaft must be shorter.

The motor seems to be the same (540 HS) servo direction seems much stronger to me than that of the HUMMER.

The difference… .............

SWEEEET!!!!! Oh man I've got to get me a set of those wheels and tires..that's insane! Put the other 3 on there Tex! Give us a vid! Torque will be an issue with those large tires but you can step down to a 9 tooth easily or an 8 tooth with a little more work.

Those rims/tires have a simple beadlock as well. The stock tires on my Hummer used to roll off the rims until I glued them on with Goop. The Rammunition ones never rolled off.

KSULLY,...............
My HUMMER are a HUMMER-MATTRACK (MR. GV280Z also) of RADIO SHACK .....

and that of MR. SEAND is a HUMMER of RADIO SHACK .....
[ URL=http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5211729] [/URL]

and the RAMMUNITION of RADIO SHACK has the same base that the HUMMER of MR. SEAND .....

and my DODGE-RAM is a model 1/14 with same the components that my HUMMER MATTRACK…..... but with some differences, and its tires are much larger, and they adapt on my HUMMER-MATTRACK.

KSULLY F-350.....The frame is very similar to my DODGE-RAM

This large truck ($50.00) satisfies me and I do not regret my purchase.

Yup the Rammunition and Hummer are almost identical. I have only taken the axles apart to lock them. Only the rear is locked now. This seems to be best for running pavement and dirt.
Differences are the Hummer has digital proportional throttle and brakes. The Hummer has smaller diameter wheels. The Rammunition has 3 shocks per wheel. The two I have, I can't interchange the wheels.
When I get a chance I will try and get some pics.
The body of the Rammunition looks to be almost the same as the body on loulou's new red truck.

Thank you for information GUMBI…

My rims and tires can be to install on my HUMMER-MATTRACK (RUBITRACK)…
I wonder whether these rims could be installed on the HUMMER of MR. SEANS ? ...it would be a good thing .......

On RUBITRACK, my 2 differentials are to close .....

OK. GUMBI, your HUMMER and your RAM have links, like that of MR. SEAND.

My HUMMER and my RAM do not have any.
My tires adapts on the 2 trucks.

I like the RAMMUNITION, they were to $59.00 (the SOURCE. .RADIO SHACK) they are similar to your HUMMER and your RAM… with links.

THANK YOU for the pics…
