adrian amazing skill with these bodys.love that look.do you find they are durabell thanks good work.
One day, someone showed me a glass of water that was half full. And he said, "Is it half full or half empty?" So I drank the water. No more problem. ~Alexander Jodorowsky.....

durable... well structure overall is very durable but the little bits attached arent. Today was taking some video which i will upload soon and ripped one of the rear bumperettes in an offroad accident LOL. The good thing is that you can just glue it back...or just do another one.
thanks for comment eh guys... video clip coming soon
Wow thats awesome, ive been trying to come up with a new body option that would make the tires/axles seem a little less huge and you hit it on the nail there... maybe im going to have to find some cardboard

hopefully i'll be doing some new video clips later on in some other location. For now i'll just enjoy these 2 bodies i've created and take it easy but it wont be long till i plunge in for a third body project...i already know what's next...i just need some time and inspiration. I'll be doing a Military Willys Jeep...someday soon LOL
no new projects at the moment...i just did another video clip and took some new photos of my landy. Basically i dug up a hole in my garden and took my new bright for some sticky fun. At the end it could barely move with the weight of the wet soil on wheels...oh and i just found out the hard way that its quite water proof...the body i mean...got it flipped in the hole and the back went under water but no visible damage so far... just getting in dried again LOL...pity camera was off at the time cos i was just testing it. In the photos it shows a bit if you notice.
i might someday but first i'm trying to have a look around locally...i have a friend who might know something on gearing since he repairs rc stuff as part time job.
Playing with mud is fun but afterward you have to see how to clean the stuff off before going back in and getting killed by my wife LOL
Didn't do much with my New Bright lately, but this weekend was out with the family and took it with me for some more test driving...and while there captured some footage of it. Here is the result...managed to do some climbs with a bit of strugle on standard stuff LOL
Planned in the pipeline is another body...this time of an H1 Hummer lookalike...right now i'm searching the net from some pics and blueprints. I know i have to tackle gearing upgrading someday but i always end up posponing and starting something else.
Adrian S3109 .. Your mods come later .. Your hard cardboard models are very well succeeded .. Good work .. I look forward to seeing you next model. Thank

regarding varnish i just used the normal varnish they use on wood and boats...just chose a matt finish instead of gloss for looks. Actually i decided to use varnish after painting all...paint was gloss and i didnt really like the result so i went asking around and discovered that a matt finish varnish would make it look nicer and give it more strength and durability. Even the paint...i used the normal paint not model paint.
An aluminium body would be a nice try but definitely much more complicated i thing. Now that i've been running around for quite a while with my bodies i'm finding them quite practical...if something breaks just glue it back in place LOL. Never really did damage the body while driving but last time while carrying it i banged it to the table and broke the windscreen...just some glue and back as it was before. Cardboard with resin glue and varnish lost its flexible characteristics.
For our NB cars they're fine but wouldnt recommend for a fuel powered rc.
