Well, the drummer went postal and ended this flash in the pan of a band. I guess I'm back to my solo shows. Oh well, the music on that site was all my demo stuff anyway so no real loss. Just a waste of time.
Thanks guys. The drummer was in a band with me before and did the same $hit. He wants to quit something so he creates a big conflict and then rattles off every negative thing he can think of to convince himself. The part that bothers me the most is that the whole website was based on artwork I did, and songs I recorded by myself at home. He wasn't on any of the songs. I have been performing shows and making a name for myself and he just wanted to ride along. When it didn't go his way he freaked out like a little baby. All I got out of it was a bunch of time lost I could have spent working on new songs and playing shows.
I have my own myspace page now that I'll be loading up music and videos and such as time goes on.
dude that sucks. well think of this in a positive way you are on to better things without him. now your free to do whatever you want. can't wait to hear some new music.

Thanks. I did end up going to his house and talking about the whole explosion. It was one of those things where he started freaking out about something from the past that he was reminded of, and I did the same in regard to his shortcomings. It's cool now. The band is still off, but at least we salvaged some humanity from a huge and ugly disaster. I wish him well in music, he is a great drummer.
