After secure pieces of plastic which is located at each end of the front diff ..... see above .......

I made a plate (aluminium) of protection for the steering hub (pivot).................

I see that this piece, took wear very quickly, by the friction of rock and other materials ..

The installation is done only by the bottom x 2, it will be maintained by 3/4 screws ..

Pics of the installation later .. THANK ..

With these ROCK PLATE, the damage will be lessened.

Pretty neat Idea Loulou. Looks like something I would of done. Simple and effective Smile

I always like KISS
KISS =S Keep It simple stupid.
Engineers learn KISS in school and how to use common sense.
Then forget both when they get their first jobs. Smile

THANK .. WAYNE S ..
This morning, when I took my videos, I hit some rocks, and if I had not had these ROCK PLATE, there were plastic break ..

I look under the LAND ROVER, and even heads of screws (which retain these ROCK PLATE) were scratched ..

I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THEIR WORK ..

They are making (home made) but they are effective .. :-)
