I bought the wrangler the other day and new being into offroading I could improve the suspension. It has a lot more flex front and back. I also put a body lift to keep the tires off the body. My problem is with the power I looked into other posts about the gears and new motors. I want a little extra power or torque just some thing to make it climb better. I dont want it to go any slower because it is very slow already. I would also like to cheap and easy. Thanks in advance for any help.

I noticed you have been on the forum for some time,, Good that you are reading up on things.
Electricity always follows the path of the least resistance. If you like to study up on things and want to keep cost down. Then it would be helpful for you to learn what is going on and causing the problem.

I have not fooled around with the stock board or motors to much to date.

The above is the actual problem that you notice.
Front wheels loose traction, rear wheels gain traction. Power bypasses the rear motor and goes to the front motor since it has least resistance. If you do a search about this in R/Cs this is also known as "Clod Stall"

With out changing gearing there is a few things you can do with your jeep.
make it lighter, less weight the force of torque is working against the more work will be gained.
Lighter the vehicle with out changing the power will actually be like increasing the power.

Gain more traction, them front tires are fighting for traction. If they had traction
there would not be a problem. Hobby grade tires that grip and hopefully are lighter will help with this problem. Pro-line Masher 2000 In my opinion are the best all around tire you can use. They are also shorter then the stock tires. A shorter tire also acts like more gear.

Those 2 things and knowing the Board / Electronics will help most likely help with using the power more efficiently. for all I know it could be something simple like the capacitor/capacitors are not doing their jobs right for the motors.

Do not mess with the suspension much to gain articulation until you actually need to and understand what is going on with the suspension. I have seen way to many people caught up in the
"Hey look how much my axles can rotate" wile when they go to use that articulation the wheels bounce all over the place like a basket ball (Wheel hop).

There is 2 parts on the rims that you can hack off to make the wheels lighter. Less rotational weight the better. On the rims there is a piece on the back that does not need to be there, same with the front. They added an extra rim bead to the front and back side of the rim. Why? or knows not me.I would just cut them off and sand, paint the front of the rim.

few links for now to help understand some of the things I have wrote about.

Cheap and easy usually leads to rebuild and replace. Its always better to just do it right the first time.
You could increase your wheel speed and Torque a bit by changing to a Speed280 motor but if you want to actually Crawl rocks your going to have to gear it down some.
