ok i got some pics and some "instructions" for you guys who want to know how to flex and look semi stock.

get the stock setup taken apart

then you have to cut out those holes to allow upward movement of the suspension arms( i recomend a SHARP HOT Exacto blade

make sure you cut almost all the way down to the second flat peace, leave about a 1/8 inch at the bottom
Then after that put the top peace back on and cut that, Do NOT CUT IT ALL off, leave some support so it doesnt snap the front or rear retaining wall off.

Move The Shocks inward,(You can put a half inch longer screw in the front without any probs, having to drill More holes ect.)Also cuting about 2 or 3 coils off of the springs will help upward travel. Adding limiting straps will keep the truck from lifting into the air when under ecceleration, or torque.

So does inboarding the springs help that much? Any drawbacks?

Helps alot. Only drawback (to some folks) would be a slight loss of ride height. I have no problem with that. Lowers the CG a little...

If it ain't broke, gimme a minute!

Yep you can clinb steeper stuff cause its lower, and you gain a little longer wheel base, although you drag belly on some stuff I have hardly ever gotten high centered.

I found that a dremmel with the drum sander does alot cleaner of a job(if you have one).I have very bad luck with x-acto blades....OUCH THATS GOING TO LEAVE A MARK!!I also found inboarding the springs did nothing to help my flex, it actually binded up, maybe i moved them in too far! Has anyone else found that problem.

I had the same problem after i inboarded the springs. I moved them out a bit and the binding went away..........

? for you now. In your sig it says #8x3" screw. Do those thread right in with no problem...or are you making new threads with them?

when i moved my springs inboard i made the hole almost as big as the head of the screw, and on the bottom of the shock i got a screw driver HOT and wiggled it around to make it a little bigger and to make room for the new movement

Hey Darksyde, The screws did thread straight in it was a little tight though. You can see how much more droop you get from this picture.....if it turns out.

Did you inboard the rear spring/shocks as well?
I had to move my rears back to vertical until I make a couple holes in the rear seat area for the uptravel.
