nice job Smile

stick/cane both same thing just a name a person put on them. U channel back bone, most people call a cane. They are torsion back bone chassis. The cane style, is more of a torsion chassis then the TCS Stick. Since the stick uses shocks. Guess TCS is trying to patent their stick.

Look at this link .....

pinp cane.......

stick ....

So, in my opinion ..

The crawler J33P3R is a PIMP CANE ..

Tcs called their chassis a stick or "The stick"
Just a name they both coined for their chassis, just like me calling mine a Newcane.

I thought that a REAL pimp cane was built only with a U chanel hole (Torsion) ..

And the REAL stick, was built with a tube and two chocks..

So I apologize if I was in error ..

Congratulations J33P3R for your new project..
This crawler should be efficient on the rock ..

One day, someone showed me a glass of water that was half full. And he said, "Is it half full or half empty?" So I drank the water. No more problem. ~Alexander Jodorowsky.....

Yes loulou you are correct both of them companies and names of their chassis are as you thought they are.

I'm just saying you can call a backbone chassis like the u channel or C channel J33p3r has a stick, cane, backbone, torsion chassis.
Or for that matter what ever he wants to call it.
Like mine I call "Newcane". (New) from newbright
axles etc.(cane) for chassis.

Before either companies came out with their own
chassis to sell and nicknamed them. Most people were calling them sticks, backbones, canes. JP called his Pimp Cane, he just added Pimp! to it.

With out the bodies on the chassis and holding them by your side. They look like walking sticks or canes. Thats were the nicknames come from.

WAYNE S .. I understand you, but I just wanted to say, j33p3r that his stick was a pimp cane .. because NAT, and you, you have PIMP CANE (U-chanel/no shock / holes in the chanel) ..

..and that I had followed your work .. and your crawler was built exactly as j33p3r .. it was only a small developing friendly :-) ..

THANK .. WAYNE S .. to be with us on the forum ..
