loulou not sure the price in dollers ,wayne.s is good at converting this ,he will know ,the pic you see of my rockcrawler is old now my jeep is finish now not taken any new pics for a while .but it is much fun and very capable crawler thanks to you and the forum .spend my time on the 1/6 bug proving difficult to install hobby servo not much room .but i shall find a way much cutting has been done on the bug it does not look the same as when i purchase,d i still have problems to overcome .iam in the process of installing deans connectors .i finely bought some .big difference .thanks

100 GBP is Almost 196$ CAD
Right now on the Exchange as of today.

Never had to deal with conversions over the WEB (Credit card etc.),

2 funny things about the three countries.
CAD is worth more then USA to GBP
But CAD is .98 to 1$ USA on the Exchange.

Now this is the funny part in the "Real World". With USA and Canada. Closer you get to the border the less the CAD is worth. Further you get from border more the CAD is worth to USA.

I know this first hand from going back and forward to Niagara Falls so many times.
What ever money USA I converted to CAD on the Canadian side. I have used the coin machines in Canada and turned the dollars I had left over to
coins. Then used the change at home. For those that have driven to Canada and have been to tolls on the roads might of seen a change in % from one state to the other.

If you deal on the NET, I think most money is through paypal. So the dollar is worth what they say it is, using interbank exchange rates.

Using XEtrade CAD is worth more then USA now at Towerhobbies if im reading it right.
1$USD = 0.988450CAD............1$CAD = 1.01168USD

My 1:6 1:10 I feel is too short, its good at crawling but cannot climb up more than a 9 inch vertival surface without flipping back ward we built a track for the 1:18s in the backyard and put some obstacles around it for crawling while the other batteries charge no vid yet, still getting it down well, tomorrow is a holiday so I might be allowed out toplay and get some vid

So this offer on EBAY, is quite high .. a 1/6 to $ 205.00 + transport .. seems to me an exaggeration ..

Funny how the market is. We can get them here for under 100$. Target at one time had loulous rover at 75$ now think their 99$ but have not seen it in stores. ETOYS has the 1/10 FJ at 34.99 aging.

Nat check this out. Looking at the Heli`s, Eflight blade cx2, I found it for 129 pounds in uk. Now that should be around 255$ US dollars then. Market for it is around 180$ US here.

Now if the blade came from here 180$ would be about 91pounds plus shipping would come out about 180$ US. If American currency was used for shipping from say,, most possibly China to you;
then it would come out to about 129Pounds. Then Eflight still makes same profit.

loulou if you are happy with the performance of the landrover there is no need to buy a hobby esc .the main reason i change the electronics on my newbrights is because i can buy hobby electronics very cheap .and i can use my stick batterie packs .so the recharge time is much less .and i have longer run times.

The ESC stock, works very well .. the work of the controller (distance) is very very good ..

My oil shocks (4) will be here very soon (8?) ..

The wheel bearings (hub) do a good job ..

I removed the loose the rear wheels .. with some washers (greased lithium) .. mods this is very important .. see ..ALL MY MODS ..

yes loulou i installd these washers a while ago they are smaller but take up the slop and wheel wobble .only on the rear as you have said

Only difference I can see with loulou and me now from hobby grade parts is paying customs.
If there is a (Wholesale distributor base) like
Horizon in Canada; then prices should be about the same as USA. I would think anyway. I mean Canada
hobby stores have to buy their products from some-were. Losi/E-flight and some others are horizon hobby products sold through them..
