Okay, I've been watching all you guys and I couldn't help myself!

Here's the parts for my new chassis:
Source: Home Depot $23

Rough design

Assembled

Preparing the axle for links and shocks

That's all I have for now. I'm sending my gears to Flapding on Monday. I have new motors and shocks on the way, and I'm still waiting on end links and new batteries. I ordered 2 9.6v 2300 from ebay for $25.

Thanks to all for some great ideas! i will keep adding pictures as I go.

Like a glove

One day, someone showed me a glass of water that was half full. And he said, "Is it half full or half empty?" So I drank the water. No more problem. ~Alexander Jodorowsky.....

Yes, I have a black and decker dremel. Slowest speed with the cutting wheel and then drum sander. Thanks!

I was thinking about buying the Axial ax10 but why not make my $35 NB climb all over the ax10! Thanks for the comments guys! When I have more money I will build a scale crawler. I have my eyes on a chassis for $50 and it's sweet! I'll try to find the link.

I'm keeping stock axles, electronics, tires, and body for all of my builds. Changing gears, and motors only. I have an untouched Blue FJ in my garage calling my name!
