RocKrawler36 you have to work very well. Your 4 link are well made. For the shocks, I will have to seek the ideal site. I will supervise your work THANK :-)
Let us hope that our forum (the only) for TOY + MODS = BETTER TOY .. will always ((living ))

Nice job RockKrawler36!! First, I really like your paint job, nice choice of colors, I like the graphics and it is apparent you looked at the entire crawler when you designed the paint Very nice! Good job on the 4 link too! I see the little brackets you are using, Ingenious! You have tremendous articulation too! For the shocks, have a look at what GV280Z did on his Midnight Crawler. His design allows you to maintain ALL that articulation you worked so hard to achieve. I will follow your project with interest

looking good! we share the idea of putting the top links in the middle of a bolt through the axle pivot arm! thats exactly what i was going to do, im glad you did it first so now i know it works lol, anyways the shocks placement eh... how about extending the chassis with a couple flat pieces of steel, like an inch or so outwards... i have a feeling you dont want to move the shocks inboard too much for binding etc... are you going to do telescoping brakelines shocks??

just out of curiousity, what wheelbase do you end up with - it looks like you gained about 3 or 4 inches.. one other quick one - why did you use a mount (red) rather than bolt on to the chassis - it works in well

Hey guy, I thought about your shock mounting problem and basically I just figured out how to do the exact same thing on yours that I did on mine. Check the pics and see what you think.

I forgot to mention that I meant for hobby grade shocks like a good set of Emaxx shocks are perfect, for that mounting method as in my pic. I'm not sure how you'd do it with the Newbright shocks.
