Yesterday I bought a "mountain bike" tire to perform a test.I cut the tread and glued the two ends with Cyanacrylate (kind of industrial crazy glue).To make more solid,I also glued a piece of solid tape.This is solid,very solid.I will finish the tread with some silicone,and make some "spinning test"! I do not want to fix the tread on the NB tire with Superglue:a small piece fixed with it=looks fixed forever!
