Hey guys I've done many search and im kinda confuse as to where to purchase my pinion gear.
I have a LR3 and order my 280 from the following website: http://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product...d=232005&pa=232005PS

But i was removing the stock motor and pinion gear and I strip it.

The question is what website would have the correct pinion size for the current motor order.

hey discover,what is the tooth count on your pinion? is the axle & motors same as rock crawler jeep 1:10?, I think most 280 motors have the same shaft size,if so I have a couple stock pinions you can have

Hi Cobra98 its the same as your jeep 1:10.
I want to replace it with an 8. Current is stock is 10. Not sure what website to order it from do. Thanks for your offer do.

All my pinions eight teeth, come from used toys .. I collected these rc (radio shack toys .. and others .. etc) and their pieces have proved very useful ..

what is the pitch of stock NB gears? This would be helpful info for me. I'm still searching for a gear solution, and I saw a 6 tooth pinion on one of the sites. That could be enough when combined with some better motors imo.

The last link in loulous post shows a 6 tooth 32p pinion gear. Would that be the right size for our stock gears? As far as I can tell, they are 32 pitch. But would it fit on the output of the stock NB motor? Any help would be appreciated.
