loulou i have made boath these type,s of shocks.and imo they are boath very poor .as some of the guys have said they are not shocks just springs with a bolt through.very poor. you need oil shocks .i know they can be expensive but they are worth the money ...take a look at this link.... http://rcvehicles.about.com/od/troubleshooting/ss/shockoil_3.htm
Hot shocks .. On my crawler 1 / 10 RUBICON .. YELLOW-CRAWLER I install shocks a long stem .. and I am satisfied with their work. I could install FLAPDING SHOCK, but these shocks are the same work as long stem .. So, I keep for their originality ..
