First off, thanks everyone for the helpful advice I have gotten to past questions. Now my daughter's jeep is clicking bad in the rear end. I have read here that you have to cut the rear end apart and zip tie it back together to take it apart to fix it(clean the gears). Will the zip ties be strong enough to keep everything together? As for the steering, you can be turning and it will start going straight and not turn until you come to a complete stop then turn. Again thanks for any and all help.

Hey- I'm not sure about the clicking noise, but it might be stripped/patrially stripped gears- still under warranty? If so, I'd return it, without cracking the gearbox open. The steering is weak at best, and I had some similar issues turning left caused by a combination of dirt in the steering arm guides, and the guides being tweked on a bit of an angle. Cleaning and realingment alleviated it, but if your going to return it, don't bother. If you cant'r return it, go ahead and open the gearbox. If you're careul, you may be able to open it without breaking anything. If not, I'd reassemble with CA and zipties to serve as clamps while the glue sets up...

If it ain't broke, gimme a minute!

That clicking you hear could easily be a piece debris in the gears. I happened to take mine to the beach.. ya ya i know i shouldnt have anyway needless to say i got sand in the gears and it was clicking very bad so I had to take the axles apart and get the sand out. It's nice and quiet again .

With alot of patience. If i remember correctly, just the ends of the axle are glued. It looks like they have clips but they arent, you have to cut through them. then take it apart slowly. Make sure you open it with the tire side down or the gears fall out. It is kind of complicated? (depending on you mechanical ability),if the gears fall out, mine did, had alot of fun trying to put them back! but once you see how it works its not too bad
