ok, so the monster im making is just enormously long and crazy, the stock rims and tires just wont do for too long, the hexagonal rim fitting for newbrights, is that standard for rims? do they generally use that? and if anyone knows a bigger sized rim and tire (preferably not too $$$) that would be compatible with an nb axle (width fit etc...) i would appreciate it!

The Newbright hex is not standard. You'll have to epoxy on a set of E-Maxx wheel adapters over the hex, and then epoxy the wheels to the adapters. Then you'll be able to run a 7" - 8" tire. That's I'm going to do eventually.
