Hey I have an 89 YJ that has a 258 with the Puegot transmission in it. I have an XJ that has been wrecked in the rear but only has about 10,000 miles on the motor. Can I put the 4.0 in the YJ and mate it to the Puegot? I know that they suck, but it works for right now, and I would like to use it till it breaks. Thanks

dont see why it wouldnt work just check the length of the input shaft and spline count shaft diameter oh and check the bell housing bolt pattern
