Why dont you give the baja claws a try, my buddy has em and would recommend them, but they do tend to run small so if you want a "normal sized" 33" get a 35" and so on. Two more options that I've seen perform very well are the Parnelli Jones DG and the directional Procomp Xterrain, very tough durable tires, worth every dollar. Hope that helps!

Id shy away from the MTR's I've heard of premature sidewall failure with them, sorry to hear about your experiance.Frown

Get the road hazard warranty and forget about it.

But nothing is made to last forever, everything can fail. No company builds a perfect product 100% of the time.

Look at where you wheel and pick a tire that works well in that terrain.

Then have a back up plan and a back up to the back up plan.

I ran brand new 37'' MTR's a total of 3 months on my jeep and sold them. My BFG mud terrains were equal in comparison in traction. I sold them and bought some 38x12.50SX's. Great tire and drove on the street with them for several years. Now running 42'' Iroks and LOVE THEM.
