Well, my stock altenator is about to take a dump on me. How much output does the stock alt. have? Should I increase to a high output alt?
I have no immediate plans to get a winch, Currently have a 400 watt amp with 4 speakers, will add extra lights soon. What do you guy think? |

I heard somewhere that the alt from a dodge truck with the V-10 is supposed to be a direct bolt on, with a higher output. Not shure of the specs or if it is even true, but you might could hit a junkyard or two and see if they have one, or a parts store, might have one in stock and you could compare then side by side. This is for a 4.0 right?

Your alternator is a 90 amp. and you can go safely to a 120 amp without overheating your wires.
I just love to go where no man has gone before Rock climbing, in marshes, atv trails, mud, tundra etc. |
