Whay tire do you guys like? I plan on using these on my 91 YJ with Detroits and a 9" in the rear and chromoly, 1 piece, hub conversion D-30 upfront. I am looking at 35X12.5 Goodyear MTR's.
I usually play on rocks in Northen California, Rubicon and Fordyce Creek at least once a year. I will also run in the snow maybe 1 weekend during the winter. I also pull the Jeep behind my motorhome.

I am currently runnig 33" Super Swampers but have had 2 come apart due to heat builup, according to the tire guy.

This Jeep is mainly for fun not daily driver.

Thanks

I have run the BFG AT and MT in 35 and like them both.
I have friends who have the Goodyear MT and like them.

Checkout some good tire ratings - you have to figure out what
kind of wheeling you are going to do. Mud, Rocks, Sand, Combo -etc
to pick the right tire and wheel setup.

My BFG MTs are average on the rocks but are good combo tires for
the sand and mud I run into.

Money is not a small issue because if you really crawl you will kill
tires every six months - I think I averaged one every six months
for seven years.... So I had tire warranies and did not use
bead locks - which none of the discount tire stores will work on...
