i am doing a ford 9 inch swap in my 92 yj. i have about 11 inches of suspention lift. my questions are. how much will this effect the pinion gear bearings with steep pinion angle. and the axle i am going with is 61 inches wms to wms how much wider is that than a dana 35. does any one have any cost issues or advise for me on how to save a buck or two.

about 4 inches wider, you are going to have a super steep driveshaft angle probly 35-45degree you would need a dual c/v driveshaft and mabey some 3-5degree shims. If you could find a high pinon 9" that would help you a little.

i run a waggy 44 sprung over 1.5 " leaf from re no drive shaft problems not vibration with single cv at the t case oh and no shims those things are bad news
