I have a EZ rear locker in a Dana 35. It was working fine and now it slips like crazy. Going down the street it slips and makes all kinds of noise. It feels like it is unlocking and then locks while going straight and slings me all of the road. What could this be?

You probably already know this but your tire pressure has to be the same in both sides. Start there, then bent axles???

One other thing, if the EZ locker is like the NoSLip, you have a go-no go gauge for the clearance between the couplers. If the gap is to wide, then it will tend to lock and unlock like you're talking about. I had that problem with my NoSlip, and found out that my carrier had *grown* in width from the extra torque loads. The gap was only .030" too wide, but that was plenty to cause problems. I put one of the original thrust washers from the spider gears back in as a band-aid fix until I got the 9" built and installed.
