I am thinking of buying a NP231 to replace the one I have in my YJ. The input shaft splines are different 21 spline I need 23 spline. Can I simply change the input shafts from one case to the other?

the only thing to think bout is the lenght has to be the same, diameter the same plus the planetary reduction has to have the same amount of teeth no if that is all the same then it will work
