Hey everyone,im not sure what tire size i can run.I have a 89 yj with a soa lift,i have 2 sets of springs to chose from. 1.5 inch lift superlift springs (which are new) or (used) 2.5 inch lift rubicons.i have 1 inch lift angled shackles,a m.o.r.e stubby shackle reversal kit with buggy springs and a one inch body lift.running a 8.8 and a 44 with flat tops.what tire size do you think will clear??? 37's?? 35's?? .should i use the 1.5 superlift springs or the 2.5 rubicons??? any help is apreciated .Thanks again everyone MIke 89 yj in the works....

I'd stay with the least amount of lift and 37's will work fine I've got a friend running 38's with stock waggy springs and soa.


86' CJ7, 258,T18,D44's 4.56 f/r, Detroit front, Warn shafts, CTM joints, rear spool, 4wheel disc, SOA w/ wagoneer springs, custom shackle reversal, 38"tsl, Allied Beadlocks,8274-50 Warn, Custom 6 point cage, custom bumpers, and still building.

thanks how much fender trimming does he have??? I want to keep a stock style flair.and waggy springs are about a 2 inch lift on a yj right? thanks again mike

heres a pic for you. This is my rig.
1.5" RE SOA springs, 1" BL, 1" Shackle(helps springs move) on 37" MTRs..... I have plenty of clearance.


Heres a flex pic for you. The rear isnt even moving yet.

Do you run a track bar with that setup. If so could you post some pics. I am currently in the middle of Building a frankenjeep with a YJ frame, YJ TUB, Dana 44's, Built CJ 258/4.0 head MPI, CJ Grill with Wagonneer springs.
