My 93 i stripped to only what i need and im thinking on converting my 4.0 to propane so how much of the actual wiring harness do i need if i ditch the oem fuel injection?
Gauges are all going to be singles no factory
(just a possability right now, not sure if im gonna butcher my 4.0 yet)

Why remove the factory wiring? It won't save you but a few ounces of weight. Might be a noticable amount on a mountain bike, but not a Jeep. Simply cap and stow the wiring, covering the connectors to keep dirt and moisture out. You never know when you might decide to switch back!
I'd look at the propane conversions closely to see how they tie into the existing system. You can probably find and download schematics on the manufacturer's web sites.
Only folks I know running propane wheel early CJ's and Toyota trucks. So I can't be of much more help.

propane is a great upgrade from standard fuel carbs... not much of a plus from FI.

Doesnt propane make less power than gas? Unless you bump up the engines compression to take advantage of the 100somthing octane that propane has?

i think its about -10% hp and runs at 110 octane
Not sure im gonna do it im just doin some research
Anyone know what the compression ratio is on a stock 4.0 HO?
