You can get a block off plate and seals from Warn.. and then install a TJ or XJ axle shaft..

Or you could look at a Posi-Lok (http://www.4x4posi-lok.com/jeep_page.html)..\

Not sure how inexpensive either solution is but I know they both work.

In the long run, (as long as you have the 30) replacing the shaft is a better way to go. I know of a couple people who've used the posi-lock, (BTW, they did like the lock when it worked) and after time the cable becomes a problem. It will wear and begin to bend in places.

Another reason to go with the shaft replacement is availability of parts. It's much easier to replace one shaft instead of 2 + a collar, and an actuator.

If you wheel in any type of mud or water, get the shaft replacement. The actuator is notorious for failing when submerged. It sucks the elements in and restricts movement.

Earth first! We'll wheel the other planets later.

Definitely go with the one piece shaft. Just cut you a block off plate out of 1/8" plate, silicone and bolt it in place. The less moving parts the better.
