Ok i just got a hold of a 1988 in-line 6 with the peugot tranny. The guy says that there is a lot of endplay in the shaft and that it pops out of gear while driving. Now this jeep will br a project jeep but before the project starts i want to be a able to drive it around probably for about 4 months or so. What do you guys think could be wrong with it. Am i better off going to a junkyard and picking up another peugot or trying to fix the one i have. I want to spend the least amount because in 4 months i am tearing everything out for a sbc350 sm465 dana 300 combo. BY the way i already have the sm465 and the dana 300 the rebuild adapters and upgrade kits for all of them so thats the way this project is going for sure Thanks in advance
