I understand that there is a pump kit to buy for towing a jeep with an auto tranny. Also understand that I can change out the rear axle for a locking axle similar to the front. Can anyone give an easy solution to towing my jeep?
thanks

I beleive, you don't want to tow an auto tranny at all, and the pump kit is actually for the t-case, to keep it from burning up.
You could always disconnect both drive lines at the axle ends and secure them up and out of the way, if you really had to tow your jeep.

Thad,
So trailering is the best idea? If towing, would I have to disconnect both drive lines or just the front??
Thanks

You can flat tow it as long as you remove both front and rear drive shafts.
