I have a 1973 landcruiser with a chevy 350. An adapter plate has been used to match the 350 to the stock 3 speed transmission/transfer case. I want to put a 4 speed transmission from a 1980 landcruiser and want to know if it will match up to the 350 and adapter plate already installed?? Basically is the bolt pattern and spline of the 3 speed the same/similar to the newer 4 speed?
