Ya I'm still wheelin, mostly at kansas rocks disney is just to far with diesal the way it is. Sold the sammy and got an 87 4runner now. its got dual cases and a body lift W/ 33's and I put in a fuel cell. As soon as I get the axles built it is going full width SAS. I got a 44 9in for it. What axle gears do you run in the bronco?

I run 5:43 in the rear and 5:38 in the front. Its as close as you can get but I have never had any problem. I run F250 flat tops, high steer, chromolly axles and ctms with a full detroit in the front and 35 spline full spool in the rear. why are you going full width on the toy? I love toy axles. I have a 85 sr5 that I put 529s and a birfield elim kit in and I love it.

I am going full width because 1, I have the axles allready 2, toy fronts around here go for around 300 bucks 3, Stability and big old meats. I want to run a 4D on there but I have a set of 38's I will go with to start.

For gears how about a 5.89 front and a 5.83 rear? I am not sure if this is what I am going with.

Pinion gear gets awful small at those ratios. With the dual case I doubt you need that steep of gear. Are you running the F.I. 22R?

Yes its FI but has 200,000 plus miles. I just put in a new clutch and some bearings in the trans and the tcases will be checked when I do the doubler. T-case gears will come later.
