I just spent my 1st week at Moab jeeping and loved it. It was my first time on the trails and I was with a group of 18 other Jeeps.
They helped me a lot and I went almost everywhere they went.
There were two places we had to be winched (one of them was rockpile) Only 1 of our jeeps made it without being winched. Four rails came up behind us and everyone of them not only made it, they look made it look easy.
Some of our guys had almost $100,000 in their Jeeps and these guys had about $7,000 in theirs.

After watching and listening all week, it looks like weight is the main issue.

I want a rig that is light, dependable street legal,at least two seats (wife and dog want to go) and will go almost anywhere

What do you experince rockcrawlers suggest?
