i have a 66 scout and was looking for info on how to read the code on the serial number. almost like a vin number. also any advice on wheels and tires would be great. i have a 8 inch lift ,with a 15 inch wheel, what size tires would be good for on/off road. also any help on finding parts! need front hub/axle. thanks

I know it's been over two years since you posted. You must certianly have by now resolved your axle issue, but if not I've got a stock front sitting around. It's yours for the asking. However, I'm in BFE Nevada.
