i lifted a scout for a guy and it pulled the back tires forward why ??

Was the anchor pin directly in the middle of the springs. What i'm getting at is did you put the springs in backwards? Did you spring over and/or shackle reverse during the lift? Need more info.

its just a 4" kit and the wedges are in the right way

Sorry, I misread your first post, we are talking rear axle. If a company simply increases the arch of a factory dimensioned spring it will move the axle closer to the non moving mounting point. I'm going to guess that your shackle no longer hangs at the same angle because the distance gets shorter eye to eye also. If its a problem just custom make some wedges that off set the anchor pin location.
Again, measure from eye to pin on both ends of the spring and see it they are equal lengnths. If they aren't your springs may be in backwards. '74 bronco, to much list '03 rubi, stock '85 toy, 5:29s,birf elims '06 GTO, spice red,m6,18s |
