Summers here, and with bikini tops on both TJ's, the garage was getting pretty cluttered with all the crap removed. Now I can get two cars in the garage again! Here's my solution...

Now for a few details,
Softop...

Here's the hooks I got from Lowe's, $5 a pair.

Here's where I put the top, out of the way and easy access.

Now for the upper doors...

Here's a closeup of one bracket

They are about 14 1/2" apart, aligned with the wall studs for strength.

Wall support is 10" long, horiz piece is 10" long, and support is 9" long prior to mitering. I then added a small piece of trim across the gap to keep the doors from sliding out, and a piece of foam to protect the weather stripping from the wood.

Finally the soft windows...

Two inch clamps, 2" x 5/16" carriage bolts, nuts, and washers from Lowes.

Square chunk of 2 x 4, carriage bolt through center and mount to wall.

Pull off rubber grip and bolt it up, the hole was already in the clamp.

Final product!

Here's the same idea for the rear windows.

I've kinda got a similar situation. My garage has stuff scattered everywhere and I just keep adding to it. I do have a shelf built high up for the hard top and I try to keep all the Jeep parts stored underneith the hardtop. But it's about time to reorganize again. Good ideas though!

Thanks for sharing these rather clever ideas. Now, what about the rear seat? Razz

Oh, I'm far from organized! Wink I just wanted to park two cars in my two car garage. The rear seats are just chucked in a corner mostly out of our way. I don't think I'll be hanging those up any time soon. Big Grin

I understand, boy I miss it out there in SoCal. We were in Joshua Tree, Truckhaven, Salton Sea or Anza Borrego nearly every weekend. In a year and a half I put about 30,000 miles on the Jeep with only one trip to LA and one to Blythe, the rest in the desert there.

Is that bike in good condition? I may be interested, only thing is you would be selling it to a kid who wants to get rid of his jeep for something "more efficient". So if you can live with yourself after doing that then we may have something.

It hasn't run for a while, but it's been kept in the garage. I also need to find or get a new title. I was basically kidding, I may need to haul it out and dust it off since it gets about 2.5 times the mileage of my Jeep. And...I could never assist somebody in getting rid of their Jeep! Big Grin
