The only rear bumpers I have seen are the Warn with tire carrier and the Garvin Wilderness with tire carrier. The Wilderness looks pretty stout. In searching the web and reading here I have been looking at the Jeeperman and BulletProof. I am leaning heavily towards the Wilderness since it is locally available. SHould I be taking a much harder look at one of the others or are the BP JM and Wilderness all good stout bumpers.

I am looking for a receiver hitch, tire carrier (currently for a 31") two gas cans and possibly a hi-lift and wilderness rack and heck for stout so it reinforces the frame (unlike the light weight Warn I looked at). What do the folks that have seen em all recommend?

Thanks
Pat

BTW I gave up on the receiver hitch motorcycle rack idea.

I think that the biggest differences in the Wilderness/Garvin to the Jeeperman are: The hinge, the latch (Jeeperman is like a car door, the Wilderness is a big "T" screw in) The frame tie ins and the way that the Jeeperman's shackles are welded through both sides of the bumper and then to the 1/4" thick mount. Also the JM is adjustable up or down if you have a body lift or add one later.

FWIW, this morning, I ordered the Koz Offroad rear bumper with swingout. I've also got a jerrycan mount and Hi-Lift brackets on the way too.

The reason I mentioned this is that what their website doesn't tell you is that they have a trail rack on the way that will be compatible with the swing out. I know you can get one gas can on the rack, dunno about whether you can get another one onto the soon-to-be-coming rack.

Having just had a look around, take a look at the following manufacturers, if you're interested.

Jeeperman
Warn
OR Fab
Off Road Technologies
Poison Spyder Customs
Koz Offroad
Toys by Troy

Sure there's more....
